Mike is a Partner with Lazear Capital and has been with the firm since 2003. He leads client engagements involving Sell-Side M&A, ESOP Formations, and distressed company situations.
He is known for his thoughtfulness and attention to detail on all client matters. He personalizes each engagement so that he has a vested interest in the outcome. He understands that he isn’t merely advising someone, but rather being asked to work hand in hand to make the best outcome possible. By the conclusion of each engagement, he wants each client to feel as though they have received his best effort and an abundance of his personal attention focused on their concerns.
Prior to joining Lazear Capital, Mike was a Certified Public Accountant for the Audit and Business Advisory Group at Arthur Andersen, LLP and the Business Turnaround Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. He is a 1993 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. His areas of studies were Economics, Accounting, and Religious Studies.
