Jason Baldwin is a Managing Director at Lazear, leading the firm’s presence in Huntsville, Alabama, while extending his ESOP expertise to business owners nationwide. With more than 25 years of financial services experience, he brings a strong background in commercial banking and financial leadership to helping business owners evaluate ownership transition options.

Throughout his career, Jason has worked closely with business owners and leadership teams, developing a broad understanding of the financial and strategic considerations involved in business succession, financing, and long-term planning. His experience across commercial, wealth, and retail banking provides valuable perspective when helping owners and their advisors assess transition strategies, including employee ownership.

Prior to joining Lazear, Jason served as regional president for Pinnacle Financial Partners in Huntsville. He previously served as CEO of BBVA’s North Alabama market, overseeing commercial, wealth, and retail banking operations. His experience leading financial services teams and working with businesses across North Alabama gives him valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities owners face when planning an ownership transition.

Jason earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Troy University. He remains actively involved in the Huntsville community.
