Jeremy is a Managing Director with Lazear, overseeing the Michigan market while extending his expertise to business owners nationwide. He is an experienced investment banker specializing in middle-market transactions and advising business owners across construction, manufacturing, distribution, petroleum, logistics, technology, and professional services. Jeremy focuses heavily on ESOP transactions, helping clients sell to ESOPs by leveraging his broad experience, analytical rigor, and deep understanding of the complexities involved in transitioning ownership.

Throughout his career at Lazear, Jeremy has guided clients through billions of dollars in transactions, navigating owners through complex sale processes with precision, transparency, and a commitment to delivering outcomes that exceed expectations. He has extensive experience working with labor unions and securing bonding for construction and manufacturing companies.  Jeremy speaks frequently on ownership transition and educates business owners and professionals sale alternatives including ESOPs and traditional M&A.

Before joining Lazear, Jeremy spent 17 years in middle market banking, where he built a deep foundation in corporate finance, credit structuring, and client advisory. This experience provides him with a unique perspective on deal execution, capital strategies, and the financial drivers that shape successful transactions.

Jeremy received his B.S. degree from Oakland University with dual majors in Accounting and Finance.  He received his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Dearborn with a Concentration in Finance.  As a licensed investment banker, Jeremy maintains his FINRA Series 79 (Investment Banking Representative) & 63 (Uniform Securities Agent).
