Joe is a Managing Director at Lazear, leading M&A engagements while also supporting the firm’s ESOP advisory practice. He helps business owners navigate complex financial and strategic decisions, guiding transactions that maximize value and align with long-term goals.

Before joining Lazear, Joe served as Director of Finance and Investor Relations at a publicly traded insurance technology company, where he played a key role in securing over $1 billion in capital through a successful IPO and other debt and financing solutions.

Earlier in his career, Joe spent more than five years at GE Capital after the acquisition of his company by GE Capital Aviation Services in 2015. During his tenure, he held roles spanning M&A, strategic planning, sales, and business development, culminating as Vice President of Commercial, overseeing USA operations.

Joe earned his B.A. in Finance, with minors in Business Analytics and Decision Science, from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University.
