Scott is a Managing Director with Lazear in the firm’s ESOP practice. He takes pride in understanding his clients’ goals and navigating each transaction to reflect their unique objectives.

Before joining Lazear, Scott was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, where he focused on external audits for Fortune 500 and mid-market organizations across the retail, manufacturing, and industrial services sectors. His client experience includes public company divestitures, SEC filings, technical accounting research and implementation, tax reorganizations, and IP sales.

Scott is a graduate of the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, where he earned his BA cum laude in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Ohio and serves on the board of Gladden Community House in Columbus.
