Stephen leads Lazear’s Central Ohio market while extending his expertise to business owners nationwide, helping them navigate pivotal financial decisions so that their vision and values guide every step. With more than 15 years of experience, including roles as a contract attorney, wealth advisor, and financial strategist, he brings a unique blend of legal, financial, and transactional expertise to every engagement.

Prior to joining Lazear, Stephen built a successful financial services practice, working closely with business owners for more than a decade. His earlier career included serving as an assistant district attorney leading criminal jury trials, followed by an in-house counsel role at a Fortune 500 design-and-build company, where he negotiated complex contracts.

A Marietta native, Stephen now lives in Old Worthington with his wife and their four active children. When he’s not helping business owners plan for the future, you’ll find him coaching baseball and basketball—or watching an impressive number of youth soccer games.
