Stephen is a Managing Director with Lazear, leading sell-side M&A engagements while also supporting the firm’s ESOP advisory practice. He brings extensive experience advising both public and private companies on sell-side and buy-side transactions across a wide range of industries, helping business owners navigate complex ownership transitions and achieve their strategic and financial objectives.

Prior to Lazear, Stephen was a Vice President in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs, covering technology, media, and telecommunications, and advising clients on strategic and capital markets activities. His experience also includes M&A execution at a Fortune 500 company and middle-market sell-side investment banking. He began his career in structured finance at PwC.

Stephen earned his BSBA in Finance from The Ohio State University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
