Troy is a Managing Director at Lazear, focused on helping business owners navigate ESOP transactions and M&A activity. He leverages extensive experience in financial operations, accounting, and auditing to guide owners through complex ownership transitions.

Troy spent several years in the Ernst & Young audit practice, serving a wide range of clients from Fortune 500 retail companies to mid-market manufacturing and mining firms. He also served as Director of Accounting at a publicly traded retail company, where he led multiple teams overseeing end-to-end operational accounting.

Troy is a graduate of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Ohio.
